Los Angeles Lakers was struggling to get a win and finally they have cherished the sweet taste of it on Sunday against Detroit Pistons. Well, they have got the win in a good margin which will surely boost their confidence. They have won the match convincingly with a margin of 108-79. Howard has got 28 points and on the other hand 15 points have been scored by Bryant.
Gasol said, “There was no other way out except to win a match for us as we are losing them continuously. Well, we have got a comprehensive win and we are getting out of tension gradually.” Gasol also took a crucial part in winning his team by scoring valuable 14 points.
Metta World Peace also scored 18 crucial points. He is playing really well recently. He has got 0-8 in the last year and this year he has also played well till now. Los Angeles Lakers also has signed two other players Steve Nash and Howard for them.
Well, still Lakers are going through some other problems with the recent offence of their coach Mike Brown. They have got the win for sure, but one thing is there to be remembered that Detroit Pistons never played well in the match.
Steve Blake has also admitted the fact that they eagerly wanted the win. He said, “The win was very much required for us. Mentally, our players are feeling good after getting this win.”
In the last 34 years they have not got such a worst start with a consecutive loss of 4 matches. Bryant said, “Mike Brown will be quite relieved after this win for sure.” Mike was going through the controversy for long time and now there is something good for him.
They dropped the match against Clippers, Portland and Dallas. After 1978 this will the worst performance by them till now. However, this win will make them believe on themselves.
Lawrence Frank depicted the fact that, Lakers play better than his team. However he said, “My teams also have a lot of good players. They will surely uplift their game.”
The schedule can be a headache for Piston as they have to go to Denver on Tuesday to play a match and they have to go to California again for playing against Sacramento Kings on the very next day.
